Lincoln Park is a very popular neighborhood, with fine shopping and restaurants, close proximity to Lake Michigan, the park, and Lincoln Park Zoo. Also it is minutes to downtown by bus, L or car (or bike!) There are charming tree lined streets with quaint shopping areas in between.
